Thanks! And it does run! I actually picked it up from the owner who lives in Mt. Vernon, IL. It's a bit over an hour from St. Louis and I drove it home. The car performed wonderfully on the highway.

I think Ron's is red also. This was a last year or so, every once in a while it would pop up in my FB feed. I have deactivated FB, so I haven't seen it for a while. He was also building a rally mkII awd golf.

Haha no plans for a cage yet! My plan for the future is to turn it into basically a street legal racecar, so there might be a cage at some point!
